Welcome to UUMC's Puppet Ministry!
We are the children and youth from University United Methodist Church who have come together to share the love of Christ through our Puppet Ministry. Puppet Ministry is a fun and exciting way to capture the imaginations of children and youth. We provide a creative way to tell their stories and the stories of the bible using the latest children's music, popular puppet songs and scripts, dramas, storytelling materials, and many other creative resources.
The younger years in life are vital to establishing values and relationships. That is why we are committed to providing a wonderful environment for children to interact with each other and young adult leaders. They will be exposed to a variety of creative materials that deliver God's truths in unforgettable ways. It is important to know the needs of the children in our church and provide opportunties and experiences for their physical, spiritual, and relational growth.
For the fall semester, our group will meet Sunday's from 12:00 to 1:30 PM in the Lower Level of UUMC. Come join us for fellowship and lunch after worship until 12 PM and stay for the Puppet Ministry program. We will meet on Wednesday's starting in January. More information to come as the new year draws near.
UUMC's Puppet Ministry was founded by Karyn Thrush. Karyn partnered up with Youth Director Chris Darling and Education Director Krista Rowe to launch this fun and exciting ministry. She is a first year student at LCC and currently leads our Puppet Ministry Team. She has the passion and dedication to serve young people wherever she is and would love to have you come and see what this ministry is all about.
